   We had the privilege of meeting Colby Hitchcock and hearing his exciting presentation about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro last January, accompanied by a slideshow.

   Mr. Hitchcock stressed that, although his wife and he had experience hiking high-altitude mountains in Colorado, the Kilimanjaro climb was a challenging task that his group of eight people faced. There was no vegetation and only one jackal on the way to the top of the mountain that they saw.

   Colby showed us pictures of their tent camp near the glacier, beautiful snowy scenery of the mountain, as well as the unusual food they ate. When the group of six people reached the summit of the famous elevation, they felt a deep sense of satisfaction in achieving their goal.

   Our presenter commented that despite the challenging trip, if he had a chance to repeat his Kilimanjaro journey, he would do it again without a second thought.
